So fifty years ago I was travelling home on the bus from my work in Belfast. To pass the time I was reading the evening edition of the Belfast Telegraph. Printed on the latest news column on the back page were the words 'Jimi Hendrix is dead'.
You know Hendrix was once asked "How does it feel to be the greatest guitarist in the world?" to which he replied "I don't know, go ask Rory Gallagher"
RIP to the second best guitarist ever. You may be gone but your music lives on.

Nice on Abber, love Ian Brown, Hendricks too Whiffle. Stone Roses though got to be one of the greatest bands ever to put pluck to string imo.

These guys are cooool, different but still cool. Believe it or not from Texas, I think.

Monday I was having a joint in car watching my boy in football training and from 8-9 on bbc2 is the cerys Matthews show>>>she knows her sh.it guys and its worth a listen.....just a few tunes she played on Monday......think I was the happiest parent there for a number of reasons
