I’ll miss buying the latest Tom Petty album every other year. One of the few artistes whom I’d buy whatever he did without first listening or reading a review. Never disappointed. Feel distraught today
 
i did say my previous post was my last on the music front, but Tom Petty deserves the airing of his tunes......................ninian I agree the man was a musical genius.....a very sad day indeed.

There’s too much great music out there to not voice opinion on.

I’ve got an updated batch of new material to get - Grandaddy, The Killers, Amazon’s, Royal Blood for starters.

Plus in my case nearly 50 years of old stuff!

Sad couple of days for me with two of my Canadian heroes dieing within hours of each other.

The Tragically Hips final show August 2016 was broadcast live simultaneously on CBC, CBC2, CBC radio 1 and 2, youtube and was streamed live to screens throughout Canada. Over 11.5 million Canadians went to Gords final fling to say goodbye. He died yesterday morning.

You should give Trailer Park Boys a go dude. Could grow on you like they did on me and my kids. Can remember them sitting on my lap when they were little, didnt have a clue what was goin on but they were in hysterics anyway. You got 12 seasons, 4 movies and a load of specials to catch up on if you fancy it dude <ok>
