h ive rarely heard covers being better than the originals......but it does happen the legend jimi done alone the watchtower brilliantly.

Once in a blue moon, you get a better one one like this (sticking to Beatles covers just to keep a 'scientific constant')

Thanks for that memory, fabulous man. My great regret is that I missed him when he was playing at the Ely festival in Cardiff not long before he died. Lonny Don is gone!
