Hi Whiffle, good to see you back <ok> Hope the recovery is going well mate.

Nice tunes there brother, useless fact for you. Did you know Vivian Stanshall, singer with the bonzo's, was the guy who announced the instruments in the finale of Tubular Bells.
"plus...Tubular bells" da daaaaaa, da da daaa, daaa, daaa, daaa, da daaaaaaaa

Amazing, never gets old for me. They'll still be playing it a hundred years from now

Get it right Stumpy, should be 'da daaaaaa, da da daaa, daaa, daaa, daaa, da daa-daa-daa'

Only joking mate...Tubular Bells the first 'serious' album I bought...up to then it was strictly Slade, T. Rex, Bowie etc.
Then I heard the Velvet Underground.......

Another Viv Stanshall fact.....thats' him on my avatar. Picture doesn't do it justice. Thats' a globe painted on his
head...complete with a model ship. From the rear cover of 'Man opening Umbrella Ahead.

Agree Stumpy....bit of a nightmare year. I hadn't heard about Keith Emerson, though.

'Pictures at an Exhibition' remains one of my absolute favorite albums of all time.
An astounding piece of work.
