Doris Duke, beautiful, good find whiffle <ok>

and here's my soft side,

No surprises, you know them all.

What would growing up have been like without my girls singing to me. Less is the answer to that

Yeah Stumpy, Doris Duke really is someone special....check out her 'I'm A Loser/Swamp Dogg Sessions' album.

Excellent.

Nice tunes above, as well. There's something about soul singers circa late sixties/early seventies (dudes as well as girls, mind).

Yeah Wiffle, music was in the air in sixties/early seventies.

My best live band of all time, blew Zeppelin off the face of the planet

My second best live band of all time, blew every other band off the face of the planet

These were the best though,

They came dressed like Texas, he took a doobie out of his mouth, grabbed the mike and screamed

"We're the outlaws, YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

They kicked off and he didn't speak again till they finished their frenetic, non stop, incredible set. Fantastic

You'll never guess who was on lead guitar?? None other than Richie Blackmore and nobody noticed

Yep, your right whiffle, was Alex Harvey not Beefheart, was a good gig, shame they dont tour the football grounds anymore.

If they did we'd end up with some sh1te from the voice or X-factor or that numpty, who's just killed Glastonbury for me, Kanye West

These guys are great fun

Nah!, your not Whiffle, you just recognise class when you hear/see it.

Too many have grown or are growing up watching 'crap' TV instead of listening to music. It is soul food afterall. Its my kids who keep telling me to 'turn the music down' weird eh!

Check these guys out
