A site ban is a bit extreme. Didn't see what was said but Jesus wept people just need to man up. You have posters who use the terms pikie, gypos as a negative stereotype, we have posters who use the phrase ting tong. So what? Are people so sensitive that this genuinely offends them? Or are you just looking to point score by highlighting what people have said. They are by no means the most insulting or racist terms are they.
And before you say it, I am not condoning what is said by any means, just grow a pair.
Also Taff give it a rest, your talking like everyone on our board is racist when you know absolutely full well that is not the case.
While your asking:
How do you know a site ban was extreme, as you state you did not see what was said, neither would you be likely too as the complaint was about usage within the messaging system.
Next up the term pikie is considered highly offensive by some. Not by me, I get called it all the time as a Gills fan. However, it nearly got me in **** loads of trouble once. So yes Pikie or Pikey as I would word it is...http://metro.co.uk/2007/12/13/pikey-is-now-a-race-hate-word-583752/
Whether mods choose within their own communities to ban certain language on behalf of their board membership or follow a process of complaint is a matter for them.
) words as part of his regular vocabulary. Down there, they are loads of them that get positively orgasmic with each other when the "ting tong" words are posted and scramble to join in the jolly jibes.agree with that taff, they have two top mods in chico and musty, shame they have probably had enough of their childish crap, i have thought of posting there but its not worth my time, they are unable to debate these days, a shame, the reason i'm on this site is because you can debate with fans of different clubs......
JH is the only one on our board using the terms that arent allowed, and i think you should have a word with him if you havent already......![]()
