Five games to go till the split and we're still looking good for a 2nd place finish. From the BBC: Craig Brown insists his side will use the injustice at not being awarded a penalty on Saturday to drive them on against Ross County. In Saturday's match against Kilmarnock keeper Cammy Bell brought down Niall McGinn, but referee Euan Norris booked the striker for diving. Brown believes it will make his players determined to pick up points before the league splits. A win tonight would see McGinn move up to joint third in the league. And if he can win against Motherwell in his next home game, he may even qualify for Europe. Et tu, Pudus? You've changed, man. I hardly recognise you anymore.
Done a bit of studying before I made a score prediction. Aberdeen's form recently has been a bit up and down. Only 2 wins in their last 10 and both were against bottom of the league Dundee. Ross County on the other hand have been doing well recently, an easy 3-0 win against Motherwell at the weekend and they have only lost 1 match in their last 10, that was against Celtic. For that reason it leaves me with no choice but to stick with the form and go for a Ross County win I'm afraid. Aberdeen 0-2 Ross County.
Sorry, didn't see you there, Fabio. Welcome back. It's been ages since you made your last guess. But let's just put it behind us and move on. Shameful. Ross County have been doing well, though - and if anyone from the Highlands has to do well, I would far prefer it was them than Inverness CT - but I'm confident we'll brush them aside tonight in a rich display of attacking football.
7750 attendance - which is hopefully nearly free of peer anchoring since I didn't read any of this post. In saying this I looked at the last attendance, which means it is almost completely anchored, but in a relevant way.
This is due to your shameful promotion of ABP (Anyone But Pud) in the prediction league... the joy you felt in my short lived spell in second place! It cut deep ...
To be honest I think if we could start to score more goals than the opposition then we might win a few games and climb up the table. Controversial maybe but possible.
That's exactly the sort of short-term, unthinking radicalism that may destabilise a club. It's social agitators like you (and Alan Shearer) that threaten to undermine the bedrock of civilisation with your anti-mainstream agenda and recklessly extreme posturing and pronouncements. Reel it in, buddypal, before the authorities get wind of your subversion. Aye? Aye? Well, in tonightâs match at Forthbank Stadium Iâm going for Stirling Albion 7 Rangers 0, so pick that out of the net you filthy wee hun bastard. Not so smug now, Iâll bet.
That's the kind of behaviour I'd expect from you and your lot! Worse than Hitler and Saddam put together ... and Salmond!
Since it's going to be around -5 tonight and the game is on ESPN, really dont see much of a crowd turning out tonight (unlike any other night). Plus there's going to be neiiiggh pies tonight due to the horsemeat scandal. Score ---- 2 - 2 Crowd --- 6550.
You took that too far. Lumping in a couple of my heroes with Saddam Hussein...... .....I’m back! (I briefly left the site in protest.) Good point, JR. I didn’t know that the game was being shown on TV. That’s going to make a difference (it has every other time, after all). It’s a Tuesday night, it’s utterly freezing, the game is on TV, attendances are in decline, anyway, and Aberdeen have been ruthlessly abysmal this year. I’m thinking a record low is on the cards.... Attendance prediction: I need more time.
Thanks, J-Rep. I had to make a last minute stab in the dark as I got to cooking and completely forgot about The Match. I don't like my prediction. I should have gone lower. Or higher. (Covering my bases.) Hello Cartman. It's high time you showed yourself round these parts again. Absent Leader..... Edit: Jesus. My guess is only one different from Toiler's. Spooky anchoring, to use a technical term.
