Cracking game of fitba at pittodrie today as Aberdeen won 2-1 against kilie with Jonny Hayes scoring the first ever goal in the new SPFL ( Jess scored the first ever goal in the SPL incidently) and the second from man of the match Willo Flood. Could have been 3 or 4 more goals as both McGinn and Magennis both missed a couple of good chances each & Shaughnessy hit the cross bar.

Great to see we are creating a lot more chances with Flood & Robson controling the midfield. Not sure about the new guy Zola, looked slow and unfit but did create the first goal.

Bit of a nervy finish as Kris Boyd almost scored a second near the end after a mix up in defence. All in all a good start to the season in front of a decent crowd of just over 13000.

not at the game myself Johnny but speaking to one of my pals they should have had 5 or 6.

Boyd was getting some amount of stick and apparently he gave the fans the treatment when he scored. The re booked him ffs!! I mean it was just banter.

Aye Boyde was gettin chants of "SUMO" from the minute he came on & when he scored he ran to the crown with his arms out- streched like a sumo wrestler, was a ****ing joke when the ref booked him.
