So what are the new options ?

Wood looks useful, but Pitman has that Nicky-like smoothness and skill.

Time for Mr Pitman to step up to the plate and see how far he can go.
Also time to welcome back Jon Stead

I think the club needs a signing that will excite the fans and players, who may be feeling clobbered over losing our best player.
Bit disappointing we didnt bring anyone in TBH

I think we already have enough striking options Rickster, especially when you factor in Albert and Bolasie with Wood, Stead, Pitman, Taylor etc

Maynard was our 'enfant terrible' Angelic.

A Jordan Rhodes/ Simon Cox would fire everyone's imagination and get the place jumping.
Although we probably cant afford those 2, it is time to re-invest that 2 Million (whilst maybe adding another couple of million to that kitty).

I know its real life, not Monopoly, but that is a more realistic sum to invest in a future star player

I don't think this is such a bad idea, there is some good milage to be gained from these thoughts,we have always had our striking leaders...

Big John Atyeo
Brian Clark
John Galley
Tom Ritchie
Paul Cheesley
Glyn Riley
Alan Walsh
Bob Taylor
Sean Goater
Steve Brooker
Scotty Murray
Nicky Maynard

A new strking hero is very much required..
