Agree, bought up in a house with beatle mania but came through that despite my sisters love for humdrum via Muddy Waters etc. Can never go back after that.
Please don’t succumb to that fat bald knownothing fantasies where he feels safe giving everybody a name. My name is Ginge please call me by my handle.
Got into Muddy, King, Johnson etc, when I was about 13. A schoolmate had these albums - I’d never heard of these guys - he played them and the guitar playing just stunned me. I had no idea you could do that with a guitar, Never looked back after that...
Having had piano lessons at an earlier age I found a group of like minded guys from school who formed a band called the seventh sun.. Pete Townsend was a friend of my sister who we jammed with when they were the lucky numbers. I don’t want to embarrass certain idiots but Nsis Spain knovws where I’m coming from.
I was brought up on the Beatles so probably got a bit sick of them. I really don't like Sergeant Pepper and the other psychadelic stuff but hey nobody says I have to. Not a fan of Floyd or most of the 70 prog rock scene tbh. That said I still like to listen to Hard Day's Night. It's a perfect collection of feel good three minute pop songs.
