Abba v The Beatles.. different generations isn't it?

The Beatles inspired many, Abba inspired Simon Cowell and the rest is history for the worse..

They sang about drugs too back in the 60's but it's reception was like an alien invasion..

 

For me it will always be ABBA .

They never pretended to do anything other than POP songs .

Those they did Brilliantly IMHO .

Don't ever forget the 5th member either - Stig Anderson .

Commercially they were utterly fantastic .

In an era where tax on the rich was something like 80%

They got paid in oil ( as an example ) ……

Bjorn has I think a degree in business studies .

 

Surprised they kept such svelte figures if they liked fried food so much..

 

This is about comparison between ABBA and The BEATLES .

We have already established the Beatles were ***gots.
McCartney and Lennon kept the most talented member of the band, George Harrison, down, so they could hog the limelight making ****ty, ***gy, pseudo rock.
Oh, and ABBA ruled.
