Aarons injured

Bad news that Aarons has just been stretchered off against Cheltenham this evening. Looks pretty bad according to Chris Waugh. Hope it's not too bad.

I caught a bit of Total Sport on the radio before the game and they were recounting the time some two bit defender from a lower league side tried to maim Shearer in a cup game. Sounds like this was going on tonight from all the head injuries and concussions. Was it that brutal a game?

 

ah that prick from Grimsby, such a ****er. Smacked Shearer in the face and bust his lip then was trying to start a fight with him after the match; afterwards Shearer said he wanted to knock him out but he wasn't worth it.

Aarons is a total liability, we should be used to this by now.

I think it was just bad luck really with our strikers by the sounds of it, rather than Cheltenham being brutal; hopefully PErez and Gayle will be back immediately, looks like Mitro may sit the next one out.

 

I feel for Aarons but on the day we let SDJ go.... it's a cruel twist of fate that we have so many injuries.
I'm hoping this forces the club's hand to ensure we get a winger and a striker in.
I'd go back to Brighton and offer them £15m and a pick of our reserve players on loan then go to Liverpool and hopefully do a deal for Ings.

 

If LFC were to want Sissoko, I'd hope a £20m+ Ings arrangement could be made.
That lad is perfect for this division.

 

That would be a good move. Weird as it sounds I think we also need to keep Gouffran even if get an offer from a French team. We also really need a good left back so whoever we get for the wing isn't hampered by a partnership with any of our current options.

 

I think we will be pushing our luck to offload yet another of our overhyped and overpriced players on them. They are already complaining about Wijnaldum going missing in games - see how they feel about it when he goes missing for months!

 

Why would Brighton want one of our reserve team players?
Everything else there sounds good though.
