Thought he was given a 2.5 year contract by Pardew which would mean he is not out of contract until next year. I find it strange though that he has not been included on the bench more although can see that his experience only puts him 4th choice. I think he is showing promise and is worth a decent contract.

On OS it says he was given an 18 month contract in the November which means his contract is finished this summer.
