I think it was a bit of a mix up, Dona. An attempt to board block that resulted in a glitchy account deletion.

Watch it! On a serious note brb the super moderator does not understand how this happened and has passed the details to Mick for investigation. The point is that it should not have happened and Luke's account has been reinstated as fully as they could without a stain on his character. Posts gone but rep survived.
Having read this am I right in saying mods have the facility to delete the account of 'any' poster, not just their own boards members?
We can have any member banned from our board or the whole site. We cannot ban members from other teams boards directly, but we can ban them from our board and request a site ban, which is usually complied with.
No. We can't delete any accounts or even block people from the board/s that we moderate. It all has to be requested from above. The Lidls account closure was a glitch in the system, basically.
Our powers really only extend to fixing Spurf's Prediction League and as you can see we're not very good at that either.
Just to clarify my post, all bannings are a request to the super moderator who actually pulls the plugs. In Luke's case he pulled no plugs.
Cheers guys, when Luke said he fell out with a scouse mod, it read like it was his doing that got him deleted. Thats ok then, for a minute I had this hideous thought I'd have to be nice to them in future!
