Because we have to pay Tranmere 20% of the profit made from Aaron it would make sense to do a player plus cash deal, or better yet, straight swap.......Aaron for two or three premier league fringe players or youngsters who won't make the grade. That way Tranmere would get nowt.
 
In a way, if he does go, I hope it's sooner rather than later. That way we can concentrate on pre season without him and Mings will have longer to get his head around being the new permanent left back.
A whole summer of speculation won't do anyone any good.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work like that....even if you do a straight swap, i believe there is an independant panel that decide the "cost" of the transfer and the package. So even if we did straight swap, Tranmere will be still entitled to their profit.
