I phoned Radio Numcastle at 2.57 pm today to warn fans heading south for the match, that the A1 was closed at Knaresborough and the traffic jam was 12 mile back up north, also the A19 was jammed for 3 mile back up north.
To those who travelled I hope you got there in time.
Did anyone hear them shout it out
