QPR have reportedly opened talks with Auxerre over a £5million move for the 21-year-old striker, who has been targeted by Arsenal, Roma and French side Rennes. Was wondering with Maiga staying at WHU, perhaps Carroll is staying with us...and so the focus has gone towards an out and out striker ...Rhodes, and a tricky sticker/ attacking midfielder Ntep. Just a thought
Hmmm, its great news that arsenal are interested. Now theres a rumour we are including Hoilett for Rhodes so it could be Rhodes up front and Ntep at LW when we play 1 up and then can move up front himself when we switch to a 442.
The Auxerre manager was reported as saying that no interest was registered for the player by ANY English club, make of that what you may. When these sagas drag on they tend not to happen if our experiences over the last couple of windows are anything to go by. The club tend to stay much more tight lipped than before which is not a bad thing.

we paid 4.5m for zamora, 6m for SWP so I'm about as happy as I can be without knowing much about the bloke. its not that much, a top 4 side wants him, he's fast, can play in several positions, wants to play over going to a big side and can be sold on if needed.
