Were to begin, we wus just back from the walk practice and feeling hungry after a big drum and flute seshion, doctor said I need to cut back the calaries so wus looking for something light. As soon as we walked into Qua Italian we wus getting stange looks, probably becuse the tattoos and skinhead but thats to be expected. We ordered Pasta and chips and the pasta was dripping with greece, looked like it was deep fried. I eat it anyway despite knowing the doc would not be happy and I would have complained to the gaffer but had to get to the big house for the game so didnt have the time. Jumped out of there pronto and didnt leave money for the food as the service lacked the dignity we bears expect, and jumped on the first bus to Govan. Never again!

<laugh> right, who was it?

Having lived in the vicinity for a while, I've always been keen to try Qua but had never got round to it. Luckily, one of my best pals got engaged recently (Congrats Ian!) so my friend Trevor and I decided to surprise him with a nice meal and some celebrations.
We weren't sure if Ian would enjoy the cuisine as he's African - and he did seem a bit uncertain to begin with - but we were not disappointed as the meals we shared were bursting with so much flavor they could have come from the Congo, Govan, or Rome itself.
We did feel the manager was somewhat overly attentive though and probably too opinionated as well. There was a brief moment where he seemed surprise that Ian enjoyed his food and I quote, "Your people prefer it spicier so why not have the sausage?" However, this was soon straightened out, we paid our bill leaving a fitting tip, and proceeded to celebrate Ian's engagement listening to Trance and Rave until 7am at The Unit.

I heard Maltese Mike has a new website launch in the official Italian restaurant of choice of not606.
The movers and shakers will be enjoying a night out in Glasgow .
I met my wife through one of his adverts and see him as the King of Liberalterianism.
