Aye, you can be sure the media would have been all over that, if it had been true.

What a plonker you are. Not sure which parts of my post are ridiculous. I made myseflf very clear in my previous posts about why I feel lifetime bans for this throwing incident is too much

So you make a silly statement llike that and at the same time you go and chuck out factually inaccurate statements like this

Here’s a link about the FA's civil case about John Terry-

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19842795

    Dan RoanBBC sports news correspondent

"The written judgement makes for 63 pages of highly unpleasant reading, not just for John Terry, but also for Ashley Cole and Chelsea club secretary David Barnard over the reliability of their evidence.

"Like most people who have seen the footage of Terry's notorious altercation with Anton Ferdinand, the panel came to the conclusion that his explanation - that he was merely saying the abusive words in the form of a question - simply didn't add up. Their view that Terry's defence was 'improbable, implausible and contrived' is damning.

"Unlike the magistrate in July's court case, the panel weren't restricted by the need to find Terry guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. They could simply apply common sense, and having done so, they concluded that on the balance of probabilities he both racially abused Ferdinand, and then lied about it

So actually he is a proven racist… apology accepted

    <laugh>

Links a thread that specifically states it could not be proven that John Terry made a racist comment
Says "So actually he is a proven racist."

"On the balance of probabilities" <laugh>

On the balance of probabilities, you talk garbage.
Even if he had been found guilty in court, that wouldnt have proven he was a racist, just that he had made a racist comment.
Which everyone has done.....just not on a football pitch in front of millions of people.

To be honest, I think he probably did say it. But whatever, its done. He is a knob, but still our captain and a great player, so on we march.

You're now getting down to how you define what is a ‘racist’.

There are of course levels of racist with it being reasonable to say that some racists would be ‘more racist’ then others.

But of course ‘more racists’ isn’t a scientifically quantifiable thing but it undoubtedly is correct as a concept.

So yes it is proved he made a racist comment in anger, without having the time to apply rational and conscious thought.

So back to that common sense, balance of probabilities approach.

If you asked most neutral people, is a man who shouts in anger racist comments at a person of a different colour a racists?...seems far to say yes that person is a racist

So 'balance of probabilities' of making a racist remark equates to 'proven racist'? Good work Columbo. <laugh>

I suggest you refrain from embarrassing yourself with more brain farts.

So what type of people make racist comments?

I had a conversation with a friend about this who studied Psychology at uni and he essentially said.

He called him a black **** as an insult.

Insults are generally intended to make that person hurt/feel bad.

So if you have an argument with a fat person and you call them a ‘fat ****’. The ‘fat’ word is intended to make them feel bad about being fat and the ‘****’ word is to mak it clear how little respect and or hate you have for that person.

By calling someone a ‘black ****’. If this person is black then they have no reason to be offended by the somebody recognising that they are black as a fat person would be offended by someone drawing attention to the fact they are fat in a derogatory way.

So the psychology here is understanding why somebody would use the term ‘black’ as an insult. The reason is that the person making this comment is emphasising how little respect he has for this person in part because of him being a black man and intending to offend him on this basis.

So what type of people make racist comments? Answer: racists

Very weak argument. You know you really are struggling when your're being as broad as that.

You are implying every single person would potentially make racial insults

Failing again on that common sense, balance of probabilities point.

Conclusion is he made a racist insult because he's racist

without this thread I'm guessing many, including me, would have forgotten this heinous incident. Still, it keeps our Chelsea pal occupied as he contemplates the tumbleweed on his own site. Especially in a Champions League week.

Whatever happened to that patronising District Line chap?

I would tend to agree that Terry is probably not a racist, more of a simpleton who lacks social awareness and would be out witted by a 5 year old.

Did he actually apologise for that in the end?? Anyway that apart, the ****ing his own team mates Mrs, and a whole heap of other incidents I'm sure he is a top bloke :p

Nah he is still maintaining his innocence.
If he WAS guilty one would think he would have just held his hands up by now and said "Look, sorry, I said it, I am sorry. I am not a racist".
So that might lead me to believe he actually is innocent and did say it in the context that he claims (That he repeated it).
On the other hand, he could just be a gigantic asshole who, even though guilty, will maintain his innocence till the death.
Who knows? Opinions will vary depending on your football allegiance.
Do I want to give him the benefit of the doubt? Yes, he is the captain of my club.
Do I REALLY think he is innocent? If I am really truthful, I am not sure, but would probably lean on the side of no, he probably DID say it and is just a stubborn prick.

In all honesty I would probably be defending him if he was at QPR, even though evidence suggests he is a total arse.

I think his problem is his brain is not either his 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th...12,912th biggest asset, although stupidity is not an excuse for everything. Oh well I was wanting to wish Chelsea well this weekend, then looked up the fixtures and saw you weren't playing one of our relegation rivals, so can't bring myself to do it!

Terry is just a thick yob who can play football. We all know what he said. We all know what he and his family are like. The fact that nearly all the Scum fans like him says a lot about their club and mentality.

Like him? They don't know him.
They like what he does on the football field for our club every week (well....most weeks :p)
I would wager most footballers, should you know them in person, are self entitled, spoilt, overpaid, **** stains! <ok>
    Chelsea players included.
Obviously there are some exceptions, and some have done truly heroic things (like Drogba), but for the most, they are probably all knobs, lets not kid ourselves.
    John Terry chief amongst them.
Although Rio Ferdinand still wins the biggest **** ever in football award for me.

Terry? He's just another not stupid racist like the majority of people in Europe unfortunately. A pretty good CB as well. But so what he doesn't play for us, and he won't either.

All this debating (on this thread) is doing my brain in.
    The simple facts are:
QPR, and everything that has to do with QPR, is fantastic.
Scum is scum, always has been; always will be.
    The end!
