IMO the clubs most important action by far, dare I say even more than deciding what players to sell, is who they appoint as the new manager. Any concern I have would reduce ( although I'm not massively concerned yet) if I was confident that 1. we still have the appeal to attract good players to replace those we sell and 2. We can maintain the team spirit that seems to have existed throughout our rise back to the PL: that's only going to happen under the right manager. A final word: Whoever the new manger is they're going to have some very tough acts to follow. Obvious though it may be, it can be overlooked that Saints have made huge steps over the past 4 years and have only gone in one direction. Each season has surpassed the last one and considering we finished 8th this year the steps we can still take over the next seasons are realistically going to be smaller even though ultimately I'm sure we can still get better.
