Theres a big difference is signing mediocre pluggers who dont improve the squad and class players who are excellent. eg Johnson and Cisse.

Exactly, maybe I should have been clearer, Cisse instantly becomes the best player in that position we have while AJ is no better than Bothroyd or DJ.
