Excellent report Tramore, hopefully we will get a few more from you throughout the season. Really good to read that Ale is well on the road to recovery. A couple of questions if I may? Firstly do you think that Hoilett has enough vision to play the number 10 role and secondly, from what you saw, do you think that either Simpson or Traore are good enough as wing backs?
Hi Roller....regarding hoilett i remain unconvinced....he's not a no 10 as we are used to like rodney, stan, wegerlie, currie, adel....he doesn't have that sort of vision, however that's not to say he can't play the roaming midfielder rolewith ale and barton do the holding workload....he should be looking to get beyond the front players like his first goal yesterday. Simpson & traore are another matter....simpson is very good in his defensive role but so so going forward his delivery in to the box needs to improve and he needs to get to the bye line more..... Traore is too left footed but is decent going forward and he does seem to have improved his defensive work.....haven't seen enough of YSY to say he should be in ahead of traore it's probably too close to call between them. Yesterday wasn't a strenuous workout, in the 2nd halfsimpson & traore played as orthadox wingers as they were not under any pressure defensively....maybe the chilean lad will be a step up in quality....
Nice report Tramore, thanks I enjoyed it. Maybe Caulker could play the right wing back role. Did you see how quickly he shifted up the field in the 90th minute to get that cross in from the bye line?
