sees the torch reach Southampton and the Liebherr tournament take place at St Marys. Just wondering how many people are planning to go?

That's better. I was getting a bit concerned that you weren't starting enough threads recently. I can rest more easily now.
Not me. If it's a fine day I shall be taking an all-too-rare motorbike ride. Incidentally, I know the UK population is supposed to be the perennial chin-up and bear it people, but bloody hell, how much more rain do I have to put up with in a summer..?![]()

I am going as is the very lovely Mrs Godders. We are both looking forward to it and are excited about seeing our new players.
As for the rain I am beginning to suffer with cabin fever. Thursday I went to my youngest granddaughter's school sportsday which was the best day to mow the lawns and trim the hedges which I ended up doing yesterday morning in a light drizzle and only got half the job done. I was beginning to think I lived in a jungle as I hadn't been able to do it since I came back from my holidays.
Am I the only one who thinks it's sodding cold too..? I consider myself an outdoor person and the last time I seriously thought about removing my t-shirt [apart from swimming or something like that] during a summer day in the UK was back in 2006..!
Off to Lisbon in a couple of weeks. Temperatures have been 25-29 for a month now and are predicted to stay the same. Don't want it any higher than that. Will make a great change from weather here, but will then drown when I get back.
