Putting this on the Rangers and Celtic boards so it's not just on the tumbleweed board. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/footba...ules-czech-no-1-petr-cech-out-86908-23355554/ This was a welcome surprise to read this morning. As long as we don't play 4-6-0 again, I think we'll beat them
I'm excited about this game already. I don't share your optimism, though - if we don't win we're as good as out. I reckon 1-1 with us hitting the bar or missing a penalty in the last minute
Aye, a wee boost I think we'll win both of the home games, the squad as a whole has improved dramatically over the past 18 months and I do believe that Craig Levein is the man to take us forward. (Aye, the guy that played 4-6-0 the last time we played this mob)
I am proud scot , got annoyed these new Scottish fans that now watch Englishr ep teams and now think they are expets of footballl , Scottish football is rank rotten , I should know gone every week for over thirty years . If Charlie Adams , James Mortision Alan Hutton and Bardsley are the answer , I give up !!!
Predictable sickener. We now have the great spectre of Scottish Glorious Failure to look forward to (any money the team do us proud for effort, need a result against Spain and favours - get the result but not the favours) Being a Scotland fan is somewhat akin to constantly gearing yourself up for a kick in the nuts and then there's a chink of light - "I'm not getting kicked in the baws" you think to yourself then whammo Sledgehammer to the goolies.
Trust me Stereo - we'll bust a baw effort-wise in the last three games and lose out by a the proverbial hair of the baw. All comes back to not playing a striker in Prague
I kind of expected this to happen in fairness, we will be ****e in the WC qualifiers because our group is too easy
We've got a **** of a group, Croatia, Serbia, Belguim, Macedonia and the improving Welsh side who have ****ed us 3-0 and 4-0 in our last two meets.......... ...... oh you're talking about the Democratic Peopleâs Republic of Korea.
I think our world cup group is dodgy too. The easiest team in the group - Wales. Other teams got San Marino and Andorra. Wales possess some young talent! Macedonia will be no walk in the park away from home as we've seen recently. Belgium are a team on the 'up', they'll have a really strong squad. I'll admit, we could have been worse off with Serbia and Croatia 5 home games I think we can win. Folk will say we should be pumping Wales and Macedonia home and away, but I think we all know that will not be the case.
We got beat the last time in Macedonia and Wales have schooled us the last few times we've played (albeit friendlies or glorified friendlies). I'm still hopeful, though - Levein will have learned his lesson from Prague hopefully.
Last time we played Wales we beat them in the carling nations cup. I think it's a dodgy group. No glamour ties, but teams that are solid and have good players throughout their squad. Wales as a 6th seed is a joke. If they had played a friendly in June, even against the worst team in the world, they would have been in pot 5. Faroe Islands were something like 0.00007 points above them in the rankings at the time of the draw.
