It wasnt miss hit, he put it into the dangerous area which is something we never seem to do. Yes, 9 times out of 10 it would have been cleared but you have to be brave enough to put the ball in rather than turn and pass it backwards.

Fair enough. I may be being a little harsh on him there.

I have Chelsea season ticket holder friends WHO have supporter Them for more than the last 7 years and they consistently hated him for his attitude. He's a waster, and remember they included Winston Bogarde! You'll mark and remember my words.

    We need GOALS.

Since Zamora's so evidently disinterested in sorting the hand that feeds him, I'd love to see Mackie up front for a while - with Cisse somewhere in the mix to deal with the more technical type chances.

Strikers are rarely the most gifted of players (remember Lineker?) and Jamie has both the desire and engine to run most defenders ragged all game long.

    Ole, ole, ole... Mackie (pleeeease)!

We tried Mackie up front in the last game and it was the worst Ive ever seen him play for us.

Funny how Mackie didnt get any stick for wasting one of the biggest chances weve had to score in a recent games!. Sometimes I do wonder about some of the posters on here!

Unfortunately AJ's injured, unfortunately Zamora doesn't give a whit, I know why dont we give DJ or HH a run?

I rarely see Mackie play that well except when he comes on as Sub with about 30 minutes or so to do it - then he looks great. Think he should be used that way. Cisse up front for me, definite.

But now is not the time for experimenting. Its would be fair enough if we were midtable.
