A very undeserved defeat, but a positive performance - My thoughts on the game

Stopped reading after I saw you gave Williamson a 7.

Can't think of a worse centre back in the league off the top of my head.

 

Willo had an ok game. Arguably a better game than Colo had. He even won a header from a set piece. No ****

 

I agree Tash about the overall performance but not sure how you can even consider Colo for MOTM. He was at fault for both goals, the first to a lesser extent. He played well otherwise but at the end of the day he was at fault for goals which cost us the game. Immediately rules him out for me and I couldn't give him more than 6. Krul or Anita were MOTM for me. Willo was not as bad as normal but still had his usual moments. Santon was very up and down. I thought Simpson had a cracking game to be honest as was shown when the lad he was marking was withdrawn having had no effect on the game. Jonas I agree was shocking, time to take him out. Tiote was quite good and him and Anita are getting a bit of an understanding going, positive signs from those two.

Ameobi 2?? Just bizarre I thought he caused a lot of problems (and I am his biggest critic). He did give a few poor free kicks away but some of his knock downs for Ba should have brought more reward. I though Benni was decent too and was pleased to see him come through 70mins unscathed. Cisse and Ba looked dangerous but their touch and shooting was way off tonight.

Thought it was a good away performance against a decent side. I felt we should have had a draw.
