A tasty start to our year full of fun
Wigan, Stoke then a nice Chelsea bun,:emoticon-0110-tongu
Devouring the first two may not be remote
But that last one could get stuck in the throat

And as starters go, it could have been worse
Especially, if they had been in reverse,<yikes>
For as a newcomer we must get our fill
Of points early on before we pay the bill

There´s time to digest and taste what it´s worth
Before things get beefy with two trips up north,:emoticon-0107-sweat
If we get through those without tasting defeat
It could well just tempt us to only eat meat

And as we plough on through some old English fare
It´s over-eating of which we must beware,
For though at this banquet the courses are short
There´s so many, that there´s no sign of the port

I think we should munch our way happily through
The Christmas course, with a <cracker> or two,
And if, after that we don´t all take a nap
Why then, it could mean we won´t need a nightcap

For what a dessert has been planned by our host
No settling just for some marmite on toast,
Delicious, and then more delicious a spread:emoticon-0166-cake:
As on our home table things come to a head

And hopefully by thís time we´ll be replete
For finding some scraps here might be quite a feat,
And as the bill appears, let´s hope we can pay
So that this establishment prolongs our stay. OTBC <party>

That reminds me, I must prepare lunch :) Usual high quality, RBF, exciting times ahead! It may be a rollercoaster, but it will be one hell of a ride! OTBC <rose><rose><rose><rose><rose>

Let's hope the canaries will be tasting success this season and Delia & Co will serve up many victories.
