    I do indeed.

I'm also organising a Mike Ashley 'whicker man' burning session soon.

What's the point in winning the game, it's only one more reason to give Carver the job and then we write off next season as well. Also my expectations in paying my season ticket money are more than we are not quite as s*** as they are. I hope we just scrape past relegation in the last game of the season just to make Ashley as miserable as he has made us.

Nah, not quite the end yet.

They keep on giving me new parts, and then sending me on my way, so I can suffer the trials and tribulations of NUFC ever more.
I have to say the NHS can be very cruel at times, with no thought whatsoever for my mental health......<laugh>

You should organise a 'Raffle' and sell tickets at £1 each, for the privilege of setting the 'wicker man' alight.
    That should earn a swift £50k +.

Why would Sunderland fans not care about the result? We're 1 point off the relegation zone.

This is a huge game for us, along with every other game we have left this season.

We still want to beat you Disco. I think its just a case of pointing out how disillusioned both sets of supporters are. Quite rightly too. You have had a difficult time with Poyet, the Johnson publicity, and the realisation that maybe Short is not all that great. We just crack on with mid table mediocrity and seasons finishing in January with little prospect of things changing. Sad state of affairs.

    Can't disagree with that...

But we need to beat you far more desperately than we have the last few years!

But it's our turn to win one! <wah>

Genuinely both sets of fans have every right to feel disgruntled about their clubs. Utter shambles.
This derby could have huge implications, as you say, even more important than some of the previous matches. I wouldn't want to see either side go down, but losing the derby could truly be a push towards a horrendous spiral for one of us.

Agreed. I'd be pleased ish... With a draw. Think neither of us need our confidence battering now. Especially us.

I hope we really go for this. Carver has the ideal opportunity to play a young side who havent suffered 2 years of Derby failures. The likes of Cisse and Coloccini are suspended, Taylor is injured so Carver has the ultimate get out. Sissiko Abeid, Colback with Aarons in midfield. Perez and Armstrong/Cabella up front. Smaller quicker forwards will cause Brown and OShea more problems than Riviere would. There is little choice in defence so our approach should be to emphasise attack. I think if we do that we can win. As NSD says the pressure is on them - if they lose this weekend it will be even more so.
