The way I see it the old firm are championship standard at best and the rest of the SPL are league 1 at best.

If a British league were to come into effect tomorrow then the PL teams should stay as they are end of. If the OF went in the championship I reckon they'd struggle. The teams in top half are all better. You only need to look at the way Ledley has gone downhill since leaving Cardiff for proof of the standard up there. The Swans and Cardiff are both better teams than Celtic and Rangers and by some distance too.

Hell no! It will ruin what is already a brilliant set up! Things like this are designed to put even more money in the pockets of footballers and I don't think they need any more. Anyone see the Bara guy saying the PL needs to drop to 16 players so they can play their CL games on the weekend. If we start meddling with things like that it's going to ruin the game especially for the smaller teams like us.

Well I voted yes for a UK League, not because I'm interested in the plight of the old firm in Scotland, but because there is stagnation with the Scottish and Welsh league system, and I suspect the Irish too, there surely needs to be a doorway into the FA League system in my view, my concern emanates from improving grass roots football, and if that were to mean the end of the FAW, well so be it, what the hell has the FAW ever achieved, so insular, and way behind the times, still stuck in the dark ages of the game, so I'm for some form of radical thinking on this, that will be for the good of the game for the whole of the UK................

Criteria for who should be in what division? I know this will sound insane but how about the abnility to win matches and not get relegated. That sheould take care of the celtic/rangers problem, they woulod stuggle to survive in the Championship.
