I have kept my power dry on the board for a while regading the opening month(s) of the season but have spent many a hour mulling over the situation. This situation as far as I see it is far from prefect at present but the talk of relegation is very premature. Lets face it we have had a poor start to the season, but we have also had a very tough start; 2 relegated sides, 2 of last seasons playoff contenders amongst them. Yes we would have liked more points at this stage, but we still have 30 plus games to go, so we have plenty of time to improve. Last season when we were riding high at this stage many fans were saying it is too early to think about pomotion and lets not get carried away, the same applies here and now, nothing is won or lost in September
The fans who were saying last season that it's too early to talk about promotion were wrong though. It wasn't too early and we achieved promotion quite easily. It's not too early to worry about relegation, the warning signs are there, and if the manager is not allowed to strengthen, then we will go down. Simple as...
Yes the warning signs are there but we have time to do something about it. We are not going to get relegated next week, or the week after so dwelling on what ifs will only serve to drain any positivity out of the club which will only cause harm to the team.
