    I would love for ex players to be coaches , but they have to start at the bottom and earn their qualifications. Being good at football doesn't translate into good coaching.

    The last two seasons Gerrard has received a **** load of criticism (rightly) at the beginning of the season, and each of them he turned it around. I have faith he'll do the same this season.

    I disagree, the slipping and terrible World Cup would ruin any players confidence.

    He didn't turn it around. He just had a world class attack to carry him and the rest of the team.

    Unpredictable = a chance at improving

    Predictable = going downhill

    <ok>
    I just feel everyone we play knows what to expect when Gerrard plays. Less so when he doesn't.

    Well that can be one thing but a Gerrard at 28 or 30 would have run past them and slammed it in the net from 30 yards to prove a point

    The reality is everyone knows where he's at and where he is going.

  11. And that thing is ineffective without pace, movement and effort upfront!
