The usual frontier gibberish from superhoops and harryhood who seem to try to outdo each other in paranoid drivel. If they were back in school, the teacher would have to split them up for disrupting the class.
Is this the first time in living memory Celtic got more penalties than Rangers in a season ?? In 2011 Callender year Rangers must be on course to get 20 penalties , 7 so far in league 3 at tannadice , 1 in Scottish cup tie = 11 plus the rest
2007/2008 - Hibs received the most penalties in the SPL with 10 whilst Celtic and Rangers both received 4!!! Dundee United and Aberdeen both got more than either Glasgow team that season and Hearts and ICT had the same amount as Celtic and Rangers. I'm saving this stat for the next time I hear about "West Coast Bias" from some teuchter/Gayburgh type.
Last season we lost the league at Inverness 93 rd min McCourt 50/50 pen decision behind the goal that night I didn't think it was a pen , then compare it to the last three goals Rangers have scored up there everyone from a dubious penalty , Beattie falls over in an offside position , naismith loses ball in a fair tackle , then a Rangers defenders falls over running out the box.3 joke penalties
As Harry says (and I think we are the only two adults on here) it is not the penalties that are awarded that are important but the soft or non existent penalties that are given. In my almost 50 years of watching Scottish and football from many other leagues, I can put my hand on my heart and say that there is only one league where referees who are in a position that means they cannot see, award decisions against one team and pro another. As sure as night follows day, that will happen every season and depending on the closeness of the league maybe quite often. Correction just one other league. Irish League Linfield (for the poorer Rangers fan ) in the wee six get strange penalties each and every season.
We live in a country that hide the true facts , Rangers get one bad decision (non pen at killie ) that decisions covers up ten favourable decision that go their way.Same applies to us one favourable decision (sammy at Inverness) is used to cover numerous decisions that go against us. Its been the same with old firm games how many times did you hear about the wrong throw in cup final 89 or Robertson disallowed offside goal , (a game big Pierre also had a wrongly disallowed goal that is never mentioned .)a couple of decisions against them are meant to equal out the handful of honest mistakes against us
Harry we don't care if it rains or freezes, we are safe because we have the facts, the truth. Rangers fans regard the truth as something evil, something to be avoided.
But we should have got more. Stop hiding behind that fact . Celtic were denied stonewallers at Tynie , Hamilton , St Johnstone (their player picked the ball up )and even on Dougie Dougie day we had 4 penaly claims all stronger shouts than half the penalties you've been awarded this season .Last season Rangers got 3 penalties and 3 opponents sent off in a 40 minute spell in a game at Tannadice , forget this happening before in British football , has it happened in world football before ???
Every supporter of every team in the world will believe they should have more penalties every season. A question - did you see the penalties and the sendings off awarded in the game v Dundee United? What was questionable about any of them? Rangers cannot be held responsible for the misconduct of other teams.
Who was the ref that night Wullie Collum , of course he saw all the penalties as sending offs , same guy that gave a penalty for a dive he never saw in an old firm game .Then in the Hamilton match we had three match changing decision in 35 mins , their goal 3 yards offside , Forrest wrongly sent off , then Mcginn booked for a blatant penalty , that 35 min spell , we got more bad decisions than you get in the WHOLE season
So you've not seen them? What if they were the most obvious calls ever made? Last season the league was in Celtic' greasy mitt's but they lost it themselves. IF Sammy the bubble had scored the penalty at Ibrox or IF you had won in Inverness the league would have been yours. Failure at both these points meant Rangers won it. If you can't see that then you're nearly as big a fool as superhoops.
What happened in 93 rd min at Inverness denied a penalty, a stronger claim than any of your last THREE given penalties at that ground. Look at Saturday the penalty we concede at Celtic Park for an opponent heading it, that just dosn't happen to your club. Look last season when Lafferty halved a killie player in the box in injury time . No idea how old you are , superhoops and myself know the ropes and these decisions are par for the course in our corrupt game
****ing Boring this, there is genuine things to feel strongly aggrieved at but when fannies bring up every single ****ing decision they belittle any chance you have of airing legitimate grievances. Harry and Super you do far more damage than good with this ****e you pair of ****wits.
The amount of paranoia on this thread is scary. Really lads? Really, is this what keeps you awake at night, counting penalties??!
