I was discussing this yesterday evening. They have the European experience, a great work ethic (like Atletico). Need to tighten their game up though when they are in the lead as they were too open to the Dnipro counter. How do they compare with the English quartet? They would beat Arsenal over two legs (not difficult though) United would probably approach the game in a much more pragmatic way than their dearly beloved North London friends.

I only saw the second half of the final but to me, dnipro looked like a side who were knackered after playing for almost a full year.

Sevilla wont get such an easy ride (based on the second half) in the CL.

They will if they're in the same group as Utd, if Utd get through the qualifying round.

I have a feeling that United might do well next season in the CL judging by their peformances against the top clubs in the premiership. IF (and it is a big if) they get through the qualifying.

Certainly will do no worse than us - I still remember the Rodgers cringing tactics against Madrid last year. What the hell was he thinking of ? saving the team for Chelsea? In the end we ended up with nothing.
