ROD i trust SOD to bring the right players in with the restrictions he has,he said himself he wants the players in sooner rather than later.
    "His words"

He clearly knows who he wants gone,im sure he knows who wants away, and i am pretty sure he know who he can afford and like.

Just seems strange it is very quite regards transfer activity in and out.

How many years now have we been hearing about our irons in the fire only to find out that when we are ready to pull them out they are stone cold, and about as much use as a hat rack to a moose. Bit of Canadian ironic humour there chaps EH!

Yes Red Robin, I am a "Tad concerned" that we are allegedly making overtures for players such as Flint and Flinders but apparently getting nowhere.

I know it seems a bit early and it's in many selling clubs and players interests to "play the waiting game" but there are now less than four weeks before we start pre-season training.

I'm even more concerned that there is nothing happening about City moving on some of those under contract, but whom most City fans would not want to see still at Ashton Gate in the coming season. No names, we all know who they are.

Wasn't it reported last week that SL was "extremely disillusioned with the greed of todays young footballers". Could be Flint was too greedy or Swindon were, or both..

The trouble is that it seems that a few on here have not adjusted their thinking following our relegation. We are no longer a small fish in a big pond, we are now a larger fish in a smaller pond which makes us a more attractive propsect and not the other way around...

All contracts end on the 30th June (in case anyone wasn't aware) so we are still paying even those who are out of contract until then.

I am not sure which part of my comment from a few days ago was unclear but as we are very likely close to the 60% threshold, it is very likely that we have to lose a few of the higher earners before new players can come in, I simply don't get the angst displayed.

Its an economical fact of life so can we stop complaining that nothing is happening but you can be damn sure that deals have been lined up for new players to come in BUT YOU CAN'T FORCE CONTRACTED PLAYERS OUT

Lets hope your right prem, four weeks is not very long, considering sod wants players in sooner rather than later.
If we are waiting until the end of the month until others are of the payroll we are going to struggle to be ready for our league 1 campaign.
