Looking at the 2 ex-Horns as to which I would prefer to return, in the first half I would've liked DG and in the second, HH. This proves the old maxim that a striker is only as good as the service he receives. To demonstrate this re DG are the Opta stats re Swansea:

Shots 146, On Target 58, Successful passes 8136. This simply shows that for all the possession, you aren't creating the chances - why should DG be slated for that? I think the best thing for DG would be to play alongside Lita but the chances of BR doing that are nil at best.

All stats are open to interpretation! My reading of these is that Swansea's manager learnt his trade at somewhere like Chelsea, probably under someone like Butch Wilkins, and is yet to realise that, to score, passes usually need to go forwards rather than continually criss-cross the pitch.

    I may be wrong though........

Well Brenden got us promoted playing crab like football and also has us competitive in the Prem league with it, what alot of people dont realise is that he doesnt have the check book to bring in the top quality needed in the final 3rd, all the fans know this and im sure Rodgers knows it too, its very frustrating for us fans but we knew this wasnt going to be an easy journey!!

We were the bookies favourites not only to be relegated but to finish bottom, and alot of people were wondering if we would go down with less points than Derby, everybody knows what we lack but we cut our cloth accordingly and therefore understand how much of a close run thing survival will be.

Rodgers has alot to learn but he is still a young manager and i would rather have him here than anybody else right now, SCFC has a system of play that will not change,it is a format that the club from top to bottom want to maintain right or wrong,it will also mean that the young players we coach will be playing the same way and that is not a bad thing IMO.

Swansea will never compete with the money being payed out at other clubs we will also never chop and change managers and our footballing system, it has progressed the club quicker than most others these last 3-4 years so there must be something right with the principle of "crabbing football"

DG is learning a new game here and he is doing fantastic, he has impressed everyone with his attitude and commitment he scores goals given the chance too !! overall i think 99.9% of swans fans are very happy with DG he comes with no bullshit and puts a shift in every game, its hard for us against these prem sides but the moment we concede too much possesion away is the moment we start taking serious hammerings, i dont expect us to stay up(may be lucky though) but i expect the club to use the money wisely and invest in the right areas, the long term future is alot healthier for us than many other teams regardless of staying in the prem league or not.

Wouldnt change Brenden or DG for anyone :)

Similar to his spell with us, maybe he is finding his feet in his 1st season learning in the Prem and will score double next time around for you.

You spend a lot of money on a theory course , you spend a lot of money on a theory exam , by law you have to have 30 plus lessons(you`d do well here)at roughly £100 a lesson! then you have your test and that costs a heap too! You get your car and your taxed in so many ways its not funny! fail your test or lose your license ,repeat the above! All that training yet unless its snowy and icy noggys are crap drivers !

I heard Cowie was running down the M4 as we speak! Rumour has it he had to jog into the middle lane at one point to "overtake" a lorry...

Nah - couldn't have been him. If it was, Cowie would have had to move two lanes to overtake.

the only way danny will get better is to play with a partner up front. on his own he tries but is not good at it, he is certainly not worth the huge amount we paid for him....he was unproven and it shows. £1. 5 million should have been the maximum. watford were laughing all the way to the bank and qpr are wiping their brow with relief.....
