So what was wrong with Samuel's goal. Goalie bent him over and he still managed to head it in. There was no foul there. As you say Guy, robbed again Fantastic performance by the lads and really deserved all 3 points. I am over the moon with that performance
Well played tonight You should be mid table if you play like that every game We were unlucky with a disallowed goal in the first half and you were very unlucky with your goal in the second In the Prem your player would have been sent off for the elbow on Kabasele but it did not appear deliberate Good luck for the rest of the season
Well done - a point on the board at last - plenty more to come based on the last 2 games, if the team can keep the momentum going
WOW went to my sons to watch on Sky expecting to come home at half time, brillant & robbed again by the ref
I've been ill and in pain mate so i've been stuck in my bed and missed the game when we get our first point as well.
A little but i'll be in bed again soon after i've had beans on toast. My cat spent all day and night curled up with me like she knows something is wrong bless her.
Any idea anyone why Samuel's perfectly good goal in injury time was not shown in the highlights. The pundits said it was a goal and one even said that if anything the goalie fouled Samuel. Maybe it was such an obvious error that they weren't allowed to show it? Very strange as normally a disallowed goal would be shown; Watford's disallowed goal was show on the Watford highlights (with a comment that it didn't look offside). So why not ours, with all the comments?
I saw the "Goal" and to be fair Samuel was offside with only the keeper behind him and no defenders on the line, i had to find it on the full match replay on iFollow.
That is correct Guy, nor from a goal kick or a throw-in. The ref/linesman called it a foull, which is ridiculous as Samuel merely stood his ground (or tried to) despite the best efforts of the goalie to shift him). The goalie had Samuel bent over and he did well to get his head to it, let alone score. I haven't heard one (non Wycombe) person say it should have been disallowed. Robbed of 2 points which were well deserved. And I thought we were in for a 7-0 drubbing
