My sister stays there.

Some life, get up, drink wine, laze about, eat well, smoke, drink more wine, play bowls, drink wine, bed.

I've been unlucky with the ups and downs of the Euro vs Sterling in the last 6 years.

When I moved to Malta and was getting paid in Euro I had to send money back home every month in sterling to cover the UK mortgage and it was costing me €1.50 for every pound I sent back, as soon as I move back to (sort of) the UK the Pound nose dives and it's costing me £1 for every €1.10 I send to Malta to cover the Maltese mortgage now <doh>

As the French owned us for about 600 years and i make Lena Zavaroni look like one of the rolly Pollies I should be fine then. Good oh.

I know what you mean Mick. It's actually cheaper to buy our horse feed in the UK at present; and shop from Tescos whilst over there. I do find driving and parking in the UK a bit stressful though after living here.

FFS, that sounds like a nightmare. I'm going to spend my last few months in France I think.

There wasn't a picture but a description with your name as the contact. I can get a link and post it here if you want but you'd be bombarded by not606.

It sounded great I have to say.

It's OK. I found it. Just realised that having taken out the main property it's lacking info. Can't be bothered to update it though. As I said before, I had forgotten it was there until someone wanted to come and view the house we live in and wanted to move urgently. Caught us on the hop; especially my wife and daughter who didn't even know about the ad. Got the family home removed and just left the renovation ad there (large farm house in one of our fields - you can sort of see it on Google Earth) but unlikely to sell it. I think I'll get that removed as well.
