If that hypothetical occurred, I think they'd say City's position is 18th (guaranteed) and Tottenham's is 2nd (guaranteed) so it doesn't impact on the integrity of the other results.
the best idea is a boycott... it was really noticeable on TV.... you had the pundits/commentators talking about it.
"Going forward, I will provide more frequent communication to supporters over the summer as we all rebuild for the challenge ahead." "Rebuild"? I think that is what is called Orwellian doublespeak.
A pitch invasion would be a terrible idea, and reinforce the view of fans as hooligans, and I don't just mean in Assem's eyes. Luckily the calls to do this will be confined to the internet, like always. Mass card holding up, protest march beforehand are better options but the reality is, any support for any protest will at best be sporadic. Most fans of other clubs and the rest of the football world will also just assume we're pissed off about relegation, rather than the actual issues too if there's a pitch invasion.
We wouldn't get a points deduction, it would be a fine. Blackpool got a £50k when it happened there, but it's likely the penalty in the Premier League would be higher (Villa were fined £200k, though there's also involved a bit of scrapping). It's not getting anywhere near enough support online for it to go anywhere.
We're all well aware of what the Allams have done in the past but the guy's just put out a perfectly harmless statement, nothing more. If he never put out a statement you'd be having a go due to the lack of communication... its really quite pathetic.
I reckon the FA would lead the protest onto the pitch if it helped get the Allams out. They wouldn't have to sort the concession debacle out then
