After just watching the game for a second time I have to say that it is overly harsh on Simpson. He was throughout one of the players taking up positions furthest up the pitch, every time we had posession in their half he was in the final third available for a pass. Poor decission making, mainly from Phillips prevented several good oppurtunities for Simpson. We created a record amount of crosses for the season, if we only had a presence in the box we would have won it by a couple of goals. Very good news when Charlie gets back as this has been our achilles heel this season. Charlie would have won us this game. Neil Warnock said it best, he wanted the oh's and the ah's from the crowd and get the bums off the seats, with crosses and shots. We had the crosses yesterday, just lacking the shots, something a striker would have got from all the crosses created. We are getting there. Very promising cameo from Traore. Him on the left and Phillips on the right hitting the byline and crossing for Austin could be our recipe for success imo. Boring? Not to me. I never find watching my beloved R's boring. Some times more enjoyable than other, but never boring. Good report Judo and well done to you and the rest who attended, heard you loud and clear
