Just had a look at the era, the league tables, regularly teams were conceding over 100 goals in a season. I'm sure Relic will have something to say about this but did teams only bother to start defending after 1965? Some of the stats from that era are just ridiculous, laughable.
Those were the days them, man. Proper men who played proper football, they even kicked a ball about that was as hard as a rock. Don't get men/footballers like that these days
What year was it that chelsea killed our gk? It led to a change in the laws Its not a quiz question. Ive just forgotten.
I've just trawled through every league table from 1888/9 to 2007/8 and can't see anything to back him up. I won't be too harsh with the guy though, he's big and mean with fists like ham shanks! And so are his 4 brothers! I'll just politely tell him he's full of ****!
Catherine Cookson Frank Williams Roger Avon (Remember him from Dad's Army?) John Miles (I don't rate him or know much about him though) And the most famous of them all......... SAFC83
I've just found this.... The fact that only 2.9% of Jarrow's population is non White British, makes Jarrow the least ethnically diverse major urban subdivision in Tyneside and is less ethnically diverse than it's surrounding borough, South Tyneside. Jarrow contains areas such as Fellgate and Hedworth, which border onto Greenbelt in the south of the town, which have very high White British populations. In South Tyneside, 5.0% of the population are non White British, which is almost double the figure for Jarrow, also the borough has twice the amount of Asian people compared to this riverside town.
My boss (the loony cockney twat) often talks about jarra. Apparently he went there years ago when he was an officer (****er) on the tankers. Ive heard the story about 100 times. He loved it.
Jarrow? I went there with School once, for an athletics competition, unless we're talking about somewhere completely different. North East vs North West athletics, I was in 200m and High Jump. Finished 4th in the 200m heat so never qualified for the final, and about 18th in the High Jump, so me and my mate jumped over a fence and ****ed off with 10 Lambert & Butler for a few hours.
I've always said it's a town like no other I've been to. It's unbelievably close knit and I never see people talk about being proud of where they come from with as much passion as somebody from Jarra. It's our heaven, mate.
