You asked is it a team that can win promotion, I said no I don't think it is and gave my reasons for it. I hope you are right and that I am wrong, if you feel we would have still won the game yesterday if it had not been for the red card fine. At the time of the card we had one shot on target and only 45% possession after 29 minutes, I can't help but feel it would have been different.

Are you excited because we won yesterday? I am glad we won, I am more pissed off that we got stuffed 48 hours earlier by Barnsley, lost to Reading and Derby and got a 5th minute injury time draw against Watford. The past 5 performances are not that of a promotion winning side.

I love Leeds, my day turns on it's head when they lose but I am being realistic that the squad we have at present isn't good enough, I no longer feel Grayson is good enough and I cannot see anything changing with Bates in charge.

I also see posts on how St Ledger and Andrews would help turn the season around, I agree that they probably would but I am not going to get excited. If we were going to spend much more than the outlay on Pugh then we wouldn't have the likes of Jason Koumas on trial and we would have signed Keough on a deal.

I would really like to see us approach West Brom with a double swoop for midfielder Graham Dorrans & centre back Craig Dawson, we would have to spend the Gradel money but it would prove Bates is interested in taking us back to the top.

We should also go in for Michael Mancienne from Hamburg.

see people say we were lucky to be facing 10 men. but you can also look at it the other way. our good, positive play (townsend in particular) got their man sent off. without us raiding up the wing he wouldnt have had to make the fouls
