A return to Terraces?

    As some of you will know, I'm a big advocate of safe standing.

    I think it would offer a better atmosphere, increased capacity and cheaper tickets.

    For a club like Spurs, I would be heavily canvassing that WHL was developed to include increased capacity with safe standing areas, rather than the go down the environmental, cultural and financial burden that a new build would bring.

    There's some ground swell of support for these ideas, but unfortunately our sports minister threw out the debate in Parliament back in February, based again on the fears and paranoia surrounding Hillsborough, citing that 'if there were an accident, people would want their (the person sanctioned it) head on a stake', which I thought was a particularly insensitive analogy given the topic, not to mention a complete refusal to actually look at the issue properly

    As PNP mentioned at the time 'He's too concerned about losing his own job to actually do it properly'
