And that’s the truth. I was on both aswell. After sleeping on it I maintain this. I tried to be a positive person. And it backfired. So I won’t be doing that again. This positive pansy **** isn’t for me anyways.
The situation is going to get worse before it gets better. I would expect the same side without trippier and Gordon will lose on Saturday and away at Luton. Howe has a good year of credit, but I suspect that he'll be under pressure when Newcastle plummet down the table over the next month. Newcastle have a big problem now this season....they'll lose away at Chelsea on Tuesday also btw..... who's left of the new signings? 2 ? Bruno and isak ? I'll get pelters for pointing it out, but it's not hard to see it coming... the side available would get relegated.
It’s a very strange situation. My own opinion is that the style of play and lack of rotation earlier in the season has to have had an impact on the situation we are in. There’s also a bit of bad luck about it. But people have to accept that there’s a reason why so many players are injured and it’s not solely down to bad luck. Also I don’t have blinkers on when it comes to Howe. I say it for what it is. If we and he does well credit is due. But that also means when it’s going poor I call that out also. Can’t have it one way without the other.
People that look at problems and just sit there shrugging their shoulders blaming bad luck won't find reasons or solutions. Howes now got to look at things and perhaps learn make a few tweaks here and there... you can't just keep throwing more bodies at the problem. It's been a fantastic two years and as I've said on here throughout there's going to be a big dip sooner or later..... Well it's here! The route was never going to be linear.
