You've lost 5,000 fans because they don't give a **** about Leeds. 'OMG we aint spent no money on playaz, **** these ****s, I go support Man U'. That's not an excuse, the damning thing is not that you have some fairweather fans who give up when they don't like what's going on (every club has them) it's that you actually defend these people. It's one thing to not be able to afford to go but when the excuse is 'people don't want to line Bates' pockets anymore', as I've heard plenty of times, then that's a bit pathetic. Their loyalty should be to their team, even if the owner is a twat.

I just couldn't give up my team that easily, I would say maybe that's because we've been **** since I've started going, but then again Leeds fans my age could say the same about them.

They don't want their money to go into ken bates pocket. It's as simple as that. The protesting against him continues regardless of how well we're doing. If you were really at the crisp bowl last weekend you'd have heard us singing bates out and get out of our club. We do it every match. With the highest average ticket price in the league, even the most dedicated of fans aren't prepared to line bates pocket and set him up for retirement when he won't do right by the club.

As the title suggests - reality check. The irony from a Leicester fan this season................

Everywhere I go with Leeds, there's no trouble, because we in fact don't look for it. Historically people from yorkshire are no nonsense types who won't sit back and take **** from other people. Due to a reputation that hasn't really applied since the 1980s, every other club wants to have a go. Number of fans who have a go at "dirty Leeds" and then afterwards even though they are just as bad say "see I knew they were still dirty Leeds". You are exactly that. Those pricks throwing bottles at our fans are exactly that.

If this same situation had happened to any other club, which it would have had it not been us playing in turkey that night and instead some other club, you'd think it was a horrible tragedy and down to the horrible turkish. But no, you have this mindset that Leeds are bad and nothing we ever do is right. Doesn't matter what happens, forget all the perfectly valid evidence to prove that our fans behaviour is no longer congruent with our reputation, anything happens and it just reinforces this belief that you intentionally set out to reinforce.

This is backed up by the fact that only certain clueless police forces ever show up in numbers when we arrive - this preconceived belief that there will be trouble when wherever we go we actually don't cause any. We're just a regular set of fans like anyone else. Nothing more or less violent or aggressive than any other set of fans, but I guarantee you wouldn't say this kind of thing about man u fans or any other set of fans. Chelsea fans, west ham, liverpool, any of the clubs with the nasty firms in the old days who were just as bad as us and have grown out of it equally or even less than us.

This isn't about our reputation or anything like that, you just hate Leeds and look for every reason you possibly can to throw abuse at anything we do, including the loss of life of 2 completely innocent men, which is down to a set of fans who actually are thugs - those turkish bastards. That is why you're a horrible little man. Yes, horrible. Yes, little (I sincerely doubt you're anywhere close to 6' 2 and even if you are, I guarantee you way significantly more than 15 stone). Man might be a bit over the top though.
