I travelled up to Sheffield with Ducker and his son on Saturday. He has been working on his books pretty much non-stop since the end of the summer, but assures me he will be a presence on the forum within the next few weeks.

I don't really know what this Henry Irving business is all about. I have never heard of him, but I will ask the Quacker what he knows on Saturday.

 

He runs Bromley addicks I believe.

Time for a clearout of some of the players who not been doing much ie pulling their weight in the first team come jan,watching that pile of poo last night made me realise some of the current reserves are not very good,we have got to dump a few of the wage bill come jan.Docherty must be the first to go i dont think ive seen this player have a decent game since the welling pre season.Its the same stupid header all the time nothing changes in his style of play ,i think hes got be honest with himself like fleetwood did with hereford and drop down a division!Luton want doc aparanttly ,his contract must surely be near the end so i say pay him up and give him a free transfer to luton.Euell is another im not impressed with i always be grateful to euell for his premiership goals but his legs have gone,he may be experienced pro but i cant see him improving so get him and doc off the wage bill come jan ,both players must be on £ 3,000 a week at least.After last nights debarcle we need a strong reserve league i think the new owners must bring it back next season for the good of youngsters comming through and players brought in.On Alonso quality player when match fit just check the goal he scored in spain on you tube quality

Agree Jonathan, clear out the players who will have no chance of getting into the 1st team.

Why is there no reserve league, I know we have a lot of players compared to some in this league but surely we can get a reserve league going, even if its just a round robin with no league positions or points. Its a matter of needing competitive matches under the players belts

Lets get a not606 team together and offer the reserves a game! Mind you, we'd need rolling subs, my fitness isn't what it once was.

 

And how exactly is this related to Charlton?
