Theres nothing wrong with celebrating a goal, most managers do. Wenger has his double gunned salute, Fergie has his celebration, Kenny raises his arms and you see the same beaming smile he had when he was a player. There is a number of extremes, ome of them a bit bizarre, there is the Rafa extreme and there is the Jose Mourinho and Martin O Neill extreme.
Our start is looking even better now having seen how spurs (one of our challengers for 4th) have started -7 GD after 2 games.
Let's be fair on Spurs they have played United & City, two teams that will probably be up there at the end of the season, although it is fun to see them doing so badly after they got all big headed by getting into the Champ League when we had a shocker of a season. They've made a massive mistake in not selling Modric for £30mil though. He isn't worth £20mil in my eyes (doesn't score of assist enough for a creative midfielder) and they could have brought a decent striker and CB with the cash.
yeah no disgrace in getting beat by either of them, its just how poor spurs actually performed in both those games that makes out start seem a little better.
Things aren't looking too clever for either North London team at the moment then. Arsenal just look so bad defensively without Vermaelen. If he wasn't playing against us I really do think we would have won by 4 goals.
Talk about a game changing moment. Chance to go 1-1, missed, then United go up the other end and score a screamer. Crisis?
So what you are saying is we should never celebrate a goal in case we loose? and I always thought football was about supporting your team.So be warned kenny don't celebrate, raise your arms or even smile because the opposition might score. In fact best if you don't show any emotion (ala Rafa) or maybe don't even attend the match. It's about passion for goodness sake and KK has it in spades.
Can you call Arsenal a rival after seeing their first 3 games this season? Oops, as I speak, a 3rd red card in 3 prem games for them now. I feel a bit sorry for them, they look like an Under 18's team that have accidently been entered into the Premier League.
Arsenal will not finish above you unless they do some very good business this week I can see them down in 6th or 7th. So dont worry about them it will be Spurs who will be chasing the last top 4 place with you lot. Good luck for the rest ofthe season would rather see you in the top 4 rather than London Clubs
