A poor decision (Hamer sending off)

    In my opinion I think he should have been sent off as well, for whatever reason, handball outside or denying a goal scorer opportunity he should have gone, I don't see it being overturned, also, I don't think he will start against Fulham if available anyway.

    To be honest if he was given a red for deliberate handball, not much would be said about it. The referee dropped himself in it by claiming it was for denying a goalscoring opportunity though rather than for deliberate handball.

    Clearly however, the reason for the appeal isn't because CP feels hard done by, but because he didn't want Hamer to miss yesterdays game against Brentford.

    The red card stands so hamer will miss fulham...not surprised myself, I didn't think he'd have played that game anyway
