yes, because unknown to the original author it was copy and pasted by QPR999. I don't see whats so hard to get about this. Its not written to patronise you, because its not written for you at all. Its made a link to norwich, because its meant to be read by people interested in Norwich.

But it's on our board. Go away and there'll be no arguing will there? It can still be patronising towards QPR whether it's written for us or not! <doh>

to be fair, Norwich city itself is a nice place, there's not much you can fault with it. far, far worse places to be. most of the north for example.

im not arguing with you rangercol, despite what seemed to be your determination to dislike Norwich. I'm explaining what a lot of your fans have already said on here, that it isn't the arrogant attack on QPR that you seem so keen to read it as. To all the QPR posters on here who were welcoming the idea of stopping the bickering between us, thank you, and i look forward to chatting with you in the future. After all the point of a open forum is to have cross club chat no? :emoticon-0100-smile

Several years, after all you wouldnt call Ian Evatt a PL player because he had a season there with Blackpool.
Karl Henry or Rob Hulse arent PL players either even though they are at a PL club.

See if you can come on OUR board without being patronising and we'll see how we go!

you're forgetting his 4 performances for Derby;)

But seriously, our players have shown they can step up from the NPC and hold their own in the PL. It looks like they'll stay up this year which only adds to the argument that they are PL quality.

It doesn't bother me too much at this point if they're still deemed NPC players by others who havent watched them as much, If they keep putting in PL quality performances, they will be accepted as PL quality players sooner or later.

well thats pretty much the problem. If i seem patronising to you its because i don't understand the need to have petty grievances on a forum we all come on to talk about a game we're meant to all love. I post over here a fair bit, and think i'm not patronising. check my posts, i try to be reasonable, and in fact supportive of QPR's relegation battle. I'd like you to stay up. The reason i do is because there's a lot of nice guys here, who are not constantly looking for aggro were there doesn't need to be any. Why do you hate Norwich F.C. so much?

Seriously....I just find that a lot of Norwich fans come on our board, looking down their noses at us and rubbing it in because they are doing better in the Premier League. It also stems from the points deduction saga last year, when a lot of Norwich fans were positively salivating at the prospect.
    Anyway....you're right. Enough!!
Let's see what the next posts are like. Oh and please do Wigan for us....cheers!!

I must admit that after watching that film, I'm finding it hard to dislike Paladini as much as I used to. He came across as a bit of a lovable rogue, akin to an Italian Del-Boy type character. They were comical though weren't they? Briatore was so bad it was cringe-worthy.

Great film to be fair. Well done the dude who made it.

QPR don't hate Norwich at all, we hate Chelsea with lesser hatred of Cardiff, Luton, kind of Fulham...Brentford hate us? Don't know if that counts

Has anyone called pest control? We seem to have an infestation of yellow and green flying vermin.

When I grew up Norwich was always a sort of "second club" for me, with the likes of Ian Culverhouse, Mark Bowen (a Ranger now ;)), Ian Butterworth, Jeremy Goss, Ruel Fox, Ian Crook, Robert Fleck, Bryan Gunn, Mark Robins and Chris Sutton etc. Great players that seemed to always perform when i watched them.
Then came the point deduction saga and Norwich went from second to ninetysecond club because of all the gloaters and wummers flodding our boards and every news article around.
Luckily I met this brilliant guy, Steven, when I was on holiday with my family in Turkey last summer. Couple of years older than me and a season ticket holder at Carrow Road in his youth in the late eighties/early nineties. But not able anymore as his family commitments were in Nottingham. Anyway, long story short. After spending the Champions League final watching it, chatting and drinking with him my belief in the Canaries was once again restored. The wummers are a very small minority among both Norwich and QPR, and probably every other club for that matter. If you want an arguement then fine, but if not, don't take the bate.

What's the point in arguing who's owners or managers will run away first when both clubs seem to be in stable hands for the forseeable future? Norwich will stay up this season and make a mockery of the "second season" syndrom when they'll comfortably consolidate next season. Hopefully we'll be a Premier League side as well, and bend over twice and give them the usual six points <grr>

To be fair to Col though, I found the same line in the OP to be patronising. Doesn't matter who it's written for, could easily be perceived as patronising for an R.
