Stephane Mbia ‏@StephaneMbia 7m No it was not a joke i delette my tweet on pressure. I want speak with #qpr but they don't want. So... #qpr #om Stephane Mbia ‏@StephaneMbia 3m So... Seriously @Joey7Barton do you want rechange your seat with me ? #qpr #om . Well that settles that then. He was pressurized into deleting his tweet, which was serious.
Get rid I say. He's been ****ing useless , Shaun Derry was head and shoulders above him on Saturday. This is so disrespectful its unreal.
I'd read it as a joke even if one in poor taste. He really is either incredibly thick or/and very badly advised. Get rid.
Anybody else getting the impression that QPR is a deeply unpleasant place to be a player at the moment? We'll see how much desperation to get out overcomes greed in the summer.
As I've said elsewhere mate. . . We should clear our club out from top to bottom, give the stadium an exorcism and start again.
Do you know what? I've just about had a belly full of QPR at the moment!! It looks like my lad's cup final could be this Sunday afternoon, which would mean that we can't go to the Toon game. Apart from not being able to see people that I've got to know throughout the last couple of seasons, I really couldn't give a ****!! I just want to have a couple of months where I don't even think about our bloody club!
Good luck with that mate. I tried it once years ago, I found it impossible. I know what you mean and how you feel though.
Pitch is getting changed in the summer so we'll see how many Chelsea shirts have been under it hexing our poor club down the years. On a serious not as sb says LR must be a bad place to be as a player right now. Why is hard to say, could be the 'old guard of players', could be TF and Beard. The manager is unlikely as changing them has had little effect, same goes for new players who have come in. Something's rotten in there and needs dealing with. I don't buy Fernandes's self professed naivety at all, best I stop right there.
It has been for many months, a huge clear out is needed. Of course than means we will need double figures in new signings as well.
Can we all come and watch your lad Col? Wish him good luck from me mate. If I didn't already have a ticket I wouldn't be bothering, however I'll get to meetup with Nines, Stan and hopefully a few others. Purely from selfish reasons, I hope your lads match isn't Sunday and you'll be in the pub too. As for a couple of months away from QPR, no chance. This summer is going to be fascinating, you'll be glued to events just the same as the rest of us.
Won't know till later in the week if the final is Sunday or not mate. I will be annoyed that I can't see everyone, but I really mean it when I say that I just don't want to think about Rangers for a while. We have discussed on here just about every subject and every possible turn of events. I'd like to just tune in again at the end of July and see exactly what HAS happened. Just sick of it all mate!!
I would rarely say this, but I actually hate him at our club. Rolling around on the floor play-acting, giving away constant silly fouls, constant misplaced passes, and generally not caring enough. Facing away from play when Giggs scored against us at the Loft. Free kick given away against Wigan which, in my book, sent us down. Commando rolling around on the floor when a team in our position can't really afford the luxury of making a meal out of things. For me he's been a complete and utter embarrassment. And this latest twitter episode just tops it off. If he wants, I'll drive him back to Marseille myself.
Sad to hear this. Not just for QPR, but for football. There was a time where players had respect for their employers, not any longer it seems.
It seems clear to me that making a comment such as this, in jest or not is evidence he no longer wants to play for us. He has shown glimpses of talent, but as far as I'm concerned Barton and M'bia can go forth and multiply in Marseille, takes stupid wages off the book aswell. Get some players with real passion, had enough of those that tweet 'we will win today' '3pts' blah blah blah
There's no doubt the bloke's a complete buffoon. Only have to watch him play to see that. Been calling him Mr Silly-Billy for ages now. However, another truth is that despite his iffy 'talent' - a few of us (including me) have been convinced he cared on the pitch, i.e. more than most of the other recent imports. This proves any care he had has gone - and with that so should he be.
UPDATE: Mbia denys that he wrote the tweets: “@IJTaylor81: (1 of 3) The club is aware of tweets from the official twitter account of #QPR midfielder Stephane Mbia today #QPR” “@IJTaylor81: (2 of 3) Stephane Mbia has informed the club he is not responsible for these tweets #QPR” “@IJTaylor81: (3 of 3) The club will continue to investigate and deal with the issue internally. #QPR”
