A new thing to debate

Just think 63 years ago, grown men were debating tactics of war to bring about peace… now grown men are debating whether to keep a summer transfer thread going.

Enjoyed word association (because I love words) but it has served it's purpose during the summer, so time to say goodbye

 

Perhaps all three should go after the weekend.

 

I'd say no, as both are getting plenty of new posts.

 

Why make any decisions at all? If the thread is being used, it is being used, if not it fades away. No need to do anything.

 

Surely the Gaston thread can be used to discuss him after he signs? It will probably drop off the front page at some point after that anyway.

I say close the rumour thread. If we want a new general rumours thread create a new one. That one is stupidly long and really annoying to open on the iphone app since the 'skip to latest post' button stopped working!

Don't care either way about the word association one.
